aislop

.Have you seen this new LinkedIn feature, “Seems like AI slop”?

Basically, people can now flag posts that feel generic, repetitive, or mass produced with AI.

And honestly, this is interesting because using AI itself isn’t really the problem. The bigger issue is when everyone suddenly sounds the same. You can still use AI to help organize ideas or clean up your writing, but your actual experience should still be there.

Just like …

Share the weird client reply. The outreach mistake. The lesson from a call. The thing that actually happened to you.

That’s the part AI cannot copy properly.

Curious, do you think this feature will improve the LinkedIn feed or make people afraid to use AI at all?

For me, deadma. Ang random lang ng feature na ito. I’d rather LinkedIn add something more useful, like scheduled messages. Parang Slack, where you can choose when a message gets sent, especially since a lot of our prospects are in different time zones.

LinkedIn keeps adding unexpected features, even games, so sana next time something useful for prospecting naman.

Ikaw, what feature would you actually want LinkedIn to add?

Kind regards,

— Mary, your leadgen bestie

.Most LinkedIn outbound advice is obsessed with message length. The problem isn’t that your message is too long. The problem is the prospect has no idea why you’re reaching out.
