Hi Reader, What’s Going On with LinkedIn’s Algorithm Lately? I’ve been chatting with some folks in the space, prospect, freelancers, marketers, even sales reps… and here’s what we’ve all been noticing: 1. Older Posts Are Taking Over the Feed We’re seeing posts from last week, even from 2 weeks ago. LinkedIn’s pushing older content more than ever. It’s not about "posting daily" anymore, one solid post can float around for days if it’s valuable. 2. Engagement Is … meh It’s not just your posts getting fewer likes and comments. Everyone’s seeing this dip. Feels like the algorithm is shifting, but no one's cracked the code yet. What used to work last month might not work today. 3. Connections Are Up, Even If Likes Are Down You might not be getting likes, but you’re probably getting more connection requests. That’s a signal. People are watching, even if they’re not engaging publicly. Your posts are still working, just in a quieter way. Smart, valuable comments are getting great reach. Seriously. A good comment on the right post can bring you profile views, connections, and conversations. Might be time to spend less energy posting and more time engaging. — Mary, your leadgen bestie P.S. .Leadgent tips #92: Here’s how I open an interview call or discovery call with a CEO, or hiring manager. Before I talk about my service, experience, or process, I first show them that I did my research. What I usually says. “Mind If I share what I learned about your business, before we start talking about {solution}? I don’t want to assume I’ve got everything right, simply because I researched COMPANY beforehand. It looks like COMPANY sells a PRODUCT/SERVICE to STAKEHOLDER ROLES at CUSTOMER...
.Most LinkedIn outbound advice is obsessed with message length. The problem isn’t that your message is too long. The problem is the prospect has no idea why you’re reaching out. Before you send the DM, you need three things: A trigger — why now? A reason — why them? A low-friction ask — why should they reply? Because if you can’t answer those three questions, even the perfect script won’t save you. Here are 7 ways to improve your chats: 1.Short only works when the reason is clear. Under 150...
.Hi, Bestie!Consider this your sign: batiin mo na yung magiging client mo. Kahit simpleng Happy Holidays lang. Walang pitch. You just need to show up… lightly. Here’s why this works: Q1 is the best quarter. Buyers are already planning, budgeting, and quietly looking for new solutions and new partners. December is when they’re most reflective and most open. So instead of disappearing this month, try this: • Send holiday greetings to prospects who replied before • Follow up lost deals earlier...
